Little Emus

We are so proud of all our little Emus ! They have improved so much over the session and played their hearts out every week. Fantastic work everyone, we hope to see you all back next year 🏑🏑🏑

Final Junior Training

It’s our juniors last week of the season and for their last training session it was kids rule week ! They got to choice there on drills and games for the night and even tell the coaches what to do. Our u/8s had awesome sugar filled session with loads of games and of course cake!! What a great way to end fantastic season of training. We’ve all had an absolute ball and a huge thank you to all the parents for bringing the kids down every week and to the kids for always putting in 100%.

Coaches are already excited for next season!!

Don’t forget the juniors have their last game tonight and a small association presentation will follow their game. It would amazing to see all our little emus there for their last game 🏑🏑🏑

Finals Reminder

A reminder to all teams playing this weekend to be at the fields 30 minutes prior to your game time. This is especially important during all finals series games to allow for organization, card filling and a team catch up before games. Good luck to all teams playing in the next two days!! We are all rooting for you!! ❤️💙❤️💙

Finals Continue

Fantastic effort by our under 16s last night in their final.

The team fought hard all night and didn’t give up all game. In the end they went down to a strong Blaxland side 4-2 but they showed the Emu fighting spirit the whole way.

Great work all year in a stop start competition and the players should all be proud of their efforts and their development.

No time to rest if you are an Emu though, back into it from 10 this morning.

10 am Emu Plains 3rd Grade vs Blaxland
1pm Emu Plains 2nd Grade Red vs Emu Plains 2nd Grade Blue. Remember Blue are in the alternate strip and are wearing white socks.
5.30 pm Emu Plains 1st Grade vs Panthers.

Remember it’s an #emuparty so get your mob out.

Senior Finals

What a season it has been for our seniors, with all teams making it to semi finals!! This weekend is sure to be a good one.

Semi-finals kick off on Saturday with our 3rd grade women playing Blaxland at 10 am before 2nd grade Emu Red and Emu Blue battle it out in friendly competition at 1 pm. Our 1st ladies will then take on Panthers at 5:30pm.

On Sunday A grade will take on Panthers B at 11am before Emu Blue vs Emu White at 12:30. Emu Red will then finish off Semi’s against Penrith RSL at 3:30pm.

If there was ever a time to get down and cheer on our players it’s during these final series games!
