Long Weekend

Attention all Emu Plains October Long Weekend Players.
The carnival is next weekend!! Entries have closed for teams and we are excited to announce we have 11 teams entered.
Due to the amount of entered teams and only the use of one field, we have had to extend the carnival into the Monday. So games will be played Saturday/Sunday and finals on the Monday. We do however envisage Monday will finish around 12:30pm.
If you can’t play Monday, don’t worry, you don’t have to pull out, we will be able to work around this.
The final draw has not been finalised yet however the first game of the day will start at 9am so if all Emu players could please be at the field by 8:30am unless informed otherwise.
We have four teams entered into the carnival and everyone who has let us know they are playing has been placed in a team.
If you are unsure if you’ve said you are playing and still want to, it’s not to late!! Please email Hailey and she will place you in a team, the more the merrier. You don’t have to be able to play all three days, we will accomodate.
Uniforms: All four teams will be supplied with a shirt (it will be included in your entry fee cost)
Unless you’ve been told otherwise can everyone please wear black shorts/skirts/skorts and black socks.
Cost: entry fee of $50 can be paid in cash on the day or by direct deposit into the emu bank account (please use the reference: OLW followed by your surname)
Also the canteen will be operating all three days by fellow Emus. We will have a breakfast menu and lunch menu plus drinks & various sweet treats. Please support the canteen over the weekend!
