One week to go until the Under 13’s Junior Indoor Clinic. Its a great opportunity to learn indoor or fine tune skills for the upcoming junior indoor season. Please speak with Sandy if you have any questions

For all juniors looking for summer comp hockey please have a look at the Junior Indoor Competition.
Leading into this we also have the Indoor Development Clinic running in the school holidays on Tuesday 2nd October.

Attention all Emu Plains October Long Weekend Players.
The carnival is next weekend!! Entries have closed for teams and we are excited to announce we have 11 teams entered.
Due to the amount of entered teams and only the use of one field, we have had to extend the carnival into the Monday. So games will be played Saturday/Sunday and finals on the Monday. We do however envisage Monday will finish around 12:30pm.
If you can’t play Monday, don’t worry, you don’t have to pull out, we will be able to work around this.
The final draw has not been finalised yet however the first game of the day will start at 9am so if all Emu players could please be at the field by 8:30am unless informed otherwise.
We have four teams entered into the carnival and everyone who has let us know they are playing has been placed in a team.
If you are unsure if you’ve said you are playing and still want to, it’s not to late!! Please email Hailey and she will place you in a team, the more the merrier. You don’t have to be able to play all three days, we will accomodate.
Uniforms: All four teams will be supplied with a shirt (it will be included in your entry fee cost)
Unless you’ve been told otherwise can everyone please wear black shorts/skirts/skorts and black socks.
Cost: entry fee of $50 can be paid in cash on the day or by direct deposit into the emu bank account (please use the reference: OLW followed by your surname)
Also the canteen will be operating all three days by fellow Emus. We will have a breakfast menu and lunch menu plus drinks & various sweet treats. Please support the canteen over the weekend!

Indoor Representative teams are calling for nominations now. If you are interested, or have a child interested, please complete your nominations asap:
Thank you to all the Juniors and their families who attended our Junior Presentation on Sunday. I know the coaches all had a blast 🌈🌈🌈
For those who were unable to make it we have your children’s awards ready to be picked up. We will hold 2 pick up occasions over the next 2 weekends if you are available so we can present your child an award for their hard work and determination throughout the season. 🏆🏑
Pick up options are as follows:
Saturday 22nd September 4:30pm to 8:00pm at Kingswood Sports Club (During Senior Presentation)
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 9:00am to 3:00pm at the hockey fields (During the Long Weekend Carnival)
If that doesn’t work please get in touch and we can organise an alternate option for collection.
