Hellllllloooooooo Emu Plains People.

After a disappointing weekend for most of our teams we have 1 team left to support this Saturday. Well done to our Emu Plains White 3rd Grade Ladies team who have set up a match with Panthers @ 10 am. Please come down and support our ladies.

Well done to our A Grade Mens, B Grade Mens, 1st Grade Ladies and 3rd Grade Blue Ladies who all went down on the weekend by 1 solitary goal. The efforts everyone put in to the games meant they all went down to the wire and were enjoyable matches to watch.

Looking froward we have our Senior presentation coming up which as usual will be a great opportunity to unwind and recount some of the major points of the season. Remember to RSVP ASAP, the presentation is open to all of our Emu Plains family regardless of whether you played this season so if you didn’t play and you are keen to come, please let us know. It is on the 17th September @ Kingswood Sports Club from 5pm. There will be bowls and then a smashing dinner before we complete the important points (our awards for the season). Cost is $50 and everyone is welcome.

And finally whilst most of us are no longer playing, you are probably thinking what can I do from now until March so I don’t go crazy. Well the answer clearly is to continue playing. Summer comp teams are filling up fast so get in touch if you are interested, as in the past summer comp is played on Thursday nights from October to the end of February.

There is also indoor on Tuesday nights, be warned, these teams fill up fast so if you are interest I suggest you get onto it ASAP. Details are available on the indoor comp Facebook page so jump on and get sorted.
