We all know how much fun it is, and having the opportunity to participate at school provides great opportunities for more people to experience the joy of playing hockey.

What a season it has been for our seniors, with all teams making it to semi finals!! This weekend is sure to be a good one.
Semi-finals kick off on Saturday with our 3rd grade women playing Blaxland at 10 am before 2nd grade Emu Red and Emu Blue battle it out in friendly competition at 1 pm. Our 1st ladies will then take on Panthers at 5:30pm.
On Sunday A grade will take on Panthers B at 11am before Emu Blue vs Emu White at 12:30. Emu Red will then finish off Semi’s against Penrith RSL at 3:30pm.
If there was ever a time to get down and cheer on our players it’s during these final series games!

Voting will close for trophies tonight, don’t forget to check your emails and vote for the team members you think have done well in their category this season. Great way to acknowledge the hard work of your team mates.

Well done to our juniors who played last night in the semi finals. A loss to both teams saw our under 13’s finish the season in 4th place and 16’s will face Blaxland next Friday night for a place in the grand final.
Well done to all of our ladies teams who secured their place in the semi finals.
Good luck to our mens teams who will be working hard to secure positions to decide which semi final they will play in next weekend.

Our U/13’s had another great year of hockey. They played an excellent game tonight for their last game of the year 🏑
Our association needs your support. Please let us know if you can offer any services to support the running of the centre.
Also a reminder to make sure we care for the centre and if you see a problem please let someone know. Contact us on here, email the club secretary, chat to the Emu committee in person and we can pass on the message to the turf committee.
Lets keep our centre clean and tidy so it’s enjoyable for all of us to use.

The first round of semi finals begins this week on friday.
Under 13s are taking on Blaxland at 6pm in the Minor Final for a chance to play next week.
Under 16s are taking on Rooty Hill at 8pm in the Major Final with a win they will be straight into the Grand Final.
Please head down to support our juniors and join us in wishing then luck through the finals series
